The Cursed Stranger of Morlendar is a digital adventure gamebook series, set in the fantasy world, of Mortalissar. The story itself begins in the Kingdom of Morlendar, where you, the reader, assumes the role of the protagonist, an unlikely hero, or heroine.
Unlike traditional audio books, or digital novels, a Bookoora book is different. While there is narration, which you can toggle on or off, and story text, which you can read, a Bookoora book also includes interactive elements, similar to paperback gamebooks.
As the protagonist, you will have character skills, items to carry and use, and choices to make. When you have to make an action attempt, cast a spell, or fight in combat, you usually roll dice. But in a Bookoora book, it's automated in the background, so you do not need any physical dice, pencil or paper, to carry with you.
All you need to do, is get immersed in the story, find your adventure and survive.
Book 1: The Road to Yentyal, chronicles your journey as you make your way to the famous Yentyal Keep, the wizardry academy of Morlendar. During your adventure, you'll meet companions, learn new skills and spells, and solve puzzles and riddles.
Once you've completed your Book 1 adventure, you can resume your journey in Book 2 (yet-to-be-announced) with your completed saved game.
